Karla took a wide variety of photography courses in college, including her favorite class, Alternative Processes, where she practiced with antique and unusual lenses, HDR, infrared photography, pinhole cameras, and atypical printing processes.

The Lensbaby lens creates a unique plane of focus in each shot, leading to some imaginative images. These were all taken November 2014 in downtown Washington D.C.
